December
December was an eventful month. We traveled to Oklahoma to see the McGinnis clan for Christmas. While we were there, Colin started off his month long birthday celebration. I think he started to think that he was supposed to get a present every day.
We can start things off with a picture of Colin having a spice party. He likes to grab a bunch of spices from the pantry and create madcap hijinx.
Mom brought home an extra fancy snuggie from her dinner club gift exchange. Awesome right?
You may recognize this picture from our Xmas card. This is the unedited version.
After playing outside in the cold, we need to have some hot chocolate. Does he like it? Where is his face?
There it is! There's enough chocolate on there to make another batch of hot cocoa.
Colin wanted to try on Dad's ski helmet...its a little big for you kid.
Dad was proud of his lighting design.
The front walk.
We were worried that Colin would freak out again when Santa came in to visit his class room. Santa sat down and Colin walked right up to him and sat right by him. Looks like they called a truce for the day.
Here is a picture of Colin hiding under the stool and blanket fort.
A pic from the lift at Arapahoe basin. This was Dad's first day of skiing ever, and he had a great time.
Dad making a little breakfast.

Colin is happy to go to Grandpa and Grandma's house.

Little guy got tired out.
Happy parents since the little guy got tired out.
We bought Colin some special Christmas jammies. They have snowmen skiing on candy canes.
Colin likes to shred with his new guitar.
He can play the xylophone too.
Grandpa has total control of all canines. He is known in Ponca City as the black dog guy as he can be seen walking 4 black dogs near the lake in any weather condition.
Colin helping Grandma hang ornaments on the tree.
Aunt Julie brought some cool stuff for Colin too!
They had some extra help at CME over the holiday. He's brought in for the really tough negotiations.
Colin was really nice to his cousin Lucy.

Here are some videos.
We finally got to Grandma Ginnis's house, so we could get silly.
Did somebody say Santa?
Colin's first 2nd Birthday Party. He only got 4 or 5 total.
Thanks to Grandma Kay and Grandpa Jim for my new toys!
Is that tackle even legal? He might be getting fined for that one.
