August

August was HOT! Here is Colin playing in the watery sand at a park near our house. Lisa has been really great about taking a lot of pictures with the kids. Looks like it was Mac n Cheese day for lunch. This is Cameron's "cool guy" face. Sup ladies? It was a low numbers year for our annual guys weekend at Steve's cabin. At least we all fit in the picture together. Oh yeah, we don't smile...ever. Just a guy playing on a mat. You talkin' to me? Colin got really good at riding his tricycle recently. He loves to climb the rocks too. Drunk baby Lisa takes Colin and Cameron to the zoo at least once a week, and Colin loves it every time. Gabe, Karen, Colin, and Cameron drove up to the mountains to stay the night at Kelly and Aaron's mountain house. We drove up early and went to Breckenridge to an adventure park at the ski resort. We have some pix of the gondola ride up the mountain. Colin and I took a ski lift up really high so we could take a toboggan ride down the hill. It was really fun. Here is Colin on a pony ride. He wasn't really into it. He kept saying that he wanted to get off. I don't blame him. Those horses were really stinky. Colin climbed some big rocks at the bar in Frisco. ...and he showed off his muscles. We had a batman sighting again at our house. Lazy kid. Did you know that Colin is an artist? We have the hallway gallery in our house to prove it. Colin's favorite medium? Paint and fingers. The crew got together for a picnic for Kevin's birthday. Do we know how to party or what? Look at all those babies. We decided that we should probably cut the lawn a little more when our neighbor walked by and asked us if it was harvest time. Hi. I like to drool. We got the "office" out of the basement because we thought it was time for Cameron to get to work. He loves it. Typical workday at the Kruse house. Working some overtime. This is the one day that we put something cute on Cameron. I'm sure he spit up on it a few minutes later. Colin ready to go to the pool. Grandpa Kruse came to visit. The Kruse men went down to the 16th Street mall for a while, and Colin decided to show off his piano skills. Flex Kruse at the fountains. Grandpa reading a Curious George story. Dad took Grandpa on a horseback ride with a frontier steak dinner for a belated birthday gift in Estes Park. It was pretty sweet. Here is a pic of 2 happy dudes. Cameron and Ryland showing their fun side. This is a new section of the blog that we are going to call Brothers VIDEOS!!!
