What a busy week! We just got back from a trip to visit family in Wisconsin and attend a wedding in Chicago. Here are some pictures of us from the wedding...more on Wisco later!

Now we'll skip back to last weekend. Colin finally fit into Aunt Julie's monkey outfit!
Colin also started chewing on teething rings this week. We have no idea if he is actually teething, but he seems to like the cold, so we're going with it. Or maybe he just likes being like Reggie...
On Saturday night we hired a sitter and had a baby-free night out!
Colin is in full summer mode, particularly given the summer-themed daycare curriculum last week - listening to ocean sounds, looking at pictures of ocean animals, pushing and kicking a beach ball and exploring sand! Colin was also very lucky to spend a day with Aunt Lisa and, not to be outdone by the daycare center, she left us a note with their activities as well:

On Thursday we headed to Wisconsin! Gabe and I learned that flying with an almost 6 month old is very different than flying with an infant. Although he did not cry much, Colin did want to touch/grab/slap every thing and person in sight, make a brand new shrieking noise (over and over and over), and squirm into a new position about every 30 seconds. Here are some pictures and a video that capture mere glimpses of this wild animal's first flight as a big boy...
FINALLY some relief!
We survived the flight and headed to Janesville to see Colin's grandparents. For some reason Colin fell asleep during this ride...
On Friday, Aunt Sarah let Colin come to her studio for a photo shoot! Here's Gabe preparing the model for his first picture...
Colin did great, although he did need some beauty sleep right smack in the middle of the shoot!
And he wasn't the only cute baby at the studio - his cousin Livia stole the show when she decided to take a rest in this basket!
After the photo session, we just hung out in Grandma Kay's and Grandpa Jim's backyard playing games and visiting with lots of friends and family.
The night took a wild turn once Maddie and Logan started tackling their favorite big guy, Gabe...
