Week 22

This week we managed to do something we have never, ever done before - NOT forget anything at home in the morning before daycare! At Rebecca's good suggestion, we posted a list of things to remember next to the door. (Don't ask why lunches is on there twice - we really like food I guess.) And we actually do read it out loud every morning to make sure we've got everything - what a time saver not to have turn around and drive back home as soon as we pull into the daycare parking lot!

Another first from the week is that Colin actually WENT to daycare all 5 days. He did wake up a little sick during the night on Thursday, but he woke up happy and feverless on Friday morning, so off to school that boy went!

The little goofball still likes to be silly on the changing table with his dad - almost as much as he loves those two feet!

Going into Colin's room when he wakes up from his nap is one of the best parts of the day. He's so happy when we show up that gives us a big smile, giggles, waves his arms and kicks his legs!

Colin is getting better and better at grabbing things. He's using his new skill to give his dad a piece of his mind in this picture!

He's also still practicing sitting up all by himself. He's better, but being wedged between several couch cushions may be helping him a little here:

And for some reason he finds it HILARIOUS when we say "Mama" or "Dada" - he's supposed to try to say it, not laugh at it!

Finally, Colin had another first this week - eating sweet potatoes!
