Hi everybody!

Did you recognize me? It's Colin!

Well, my mom and dad say they are too busy to do my blog, but they aren't too busy to put me in outfits like this. I wanted to wear something nice when I went to my friends house, but this was a little too scratchy. And kinda nerdy.

Anyway, I'm still best friends with my dad.

And I really love my mom too.

They both took me to the children's room at the National Building Museum last week. I did so many cool things while I was there! I played with big blocks...

And I practiced my kneeling...

And I crawled through arches...

I jumped around in a pile of pillows...

And I made really loud banging noises with (and taste tested) the wooden blocks.

I really like to be loud. I especially like to crawl around and yell at the top of my lungs. I did it about a hundred times while I was at the museum. Here are a couple good screams!

I also went to my dad's work. His nice boss swung me around and I didn't even get scared! And then I had some lunch in the conference room. I even tried some rice. I sure did like it.

Here's a picture my mom accidentally took when me and my family were racing to get out of the house one morning. Did you know my dad can carry two mugs of coffee AND keys in one hand? I was really proud of him that day.

My dad and me really like to read books. He makes lots of silly noises that make me laugh so hard!

Here we are sharing more...

I've been practicing a lot of things lately. Like trying new foods that I pick up and put in my mouth all by myself. And I'm getting my first tooth, so I just know I'll get better and better at chewing!

I'm also practicing standing all the time. I was even standing in my crib when my mom came to get me from a nap. Boy did I surprise her!

I like to stand so much that my mom marked on the wall how tall I am now.

Did you know that I am as tall as a garbage can???

I was so excited to hear that!

In case you didn't notice it in the other picture, I have a camouflage shirt.

And my dad and I like all the same teams, so I like to wear Bears and Badgers shirts too.

Oh geeze Jack.

I have also been working really hard at crawling.

And even though I'm making all kinds of new noises, I still really like to say ba.

Sometimes I feel so silly I can't believe it. Like this day when I didn't even have a shirt on!

Or this day when my mom said I was Crazy Colin...

Or this day when my dad was making me feel so silly that I had to hide my face!

My dad comes up with the best games. Like when he made his ring go around and around in circles! He's so cool.

My dad told me that I don't have to be scared of vacuum cleaners even though they are loud. I wasn't sure he was right at first, but then we touched it together. It wasn't scary.

I don't have any idea why my mom took this picture. How embarrassing.
