Holy Snow Balls!

Wow - we are having the storm of the century in DC!! Believe it or not, these pictures were taken at 9:00am, and it is supposed to continue snowing until 6:00am tomorrow morning. It's a great day for hot chocolate, movies and homemade chicken noodle soup! Reggie and Jack had a blast running up and down the backyard hill. In some spots, the snow is even higher than Jack! Colin seemed to like it too - especially since he could eat it! As you can see, he's wearing my gloves - his little ones kept falling off...
A couple failed attempts at getting a cute picture of all the Kruse kids...
Again, this was at 9:00am! We cleaned off the car and shoveled the driveway to try to keep it under control in case we do need to go anywhere in the next couple days. Hopefully we won't though - it is nasty out there!
Since Colin's official second word is "Hola," we celebrated by taking him to a fun Mexican restaurant last night. He loves cheese quesadillas!
And, of course, he loves his daddy too...
Stalking mommy...
Colin has been to some really fun holiday parties this month. Here he is all dressed up and ready to party, followed by a post-party nap...
This is kind of a funny series of pictures taken when Colin turned bonkers while playing with two tubes from the vacuum cleaner. I'm pretty sure those tubes ranked up there with the best toys he has EVER played with...
Here are some pictures from another really fun day - a jog with Aunt Lisa, Reggie, Jack and mom! It was a little cold, so we strapped Colin in the jogging stroller and covered him with a weird plastic stroller thing like a baby in a bubble. It took us about an hour to get out of the house and set up all the gear, but we still managed to get in a 4 mile run/walk on the pretty GW Parkway. It was no joke pushing that stroller, which we guessed probably weighs around 50 pounds with Colin in it. Then again, it's no walk in the park running with two excited dogs pulling you either. We had to switch off about 20 times, but it was really fun!
At one point, we realized Colin was only wearing one shoe, so we had to do one little double back. Luckily it wasn't too far behind us...
Finally, a picture of Colin "reading" in the backseat, along with two fun videos from the week.
