Week 4

We've been really spoiled to have Jamie, Isaac and Lisa around a lot during Week 4. We spent time at Jamie's house, trying our hand at making baby food and wandering around Capitol Hill. We also made bread at our house...it was going great until we realized we forgot to add the yeast. I guess 2 mommy brains and 1 ER resident who worked all night the night before do not add up to even one good cook. Oh well, we had a blast anyway! And the brick of bread is at least edible...with a LOT of butter.

Karen's also coming up with more creative ways to be more efficient around the house - putting the baby in the clothes basket, letting the dogs play with (attack) the neighbor kids to wear them out, accidentally falling asleep with the baby in bed after feeding (who needs a diaper change anyway?), holding the baby between her legs so she's free to drink wine...all the important things in life!

We're also convinced that Colin's chubby little cheeks are growing just as fast as the rest of him this week!

Gabe and Colin got sneaky - they had about 5 minutes alone, and they managed to give Colin a wild hair style that would not go away until the next bath...

Last but not least, Colin broke in his Wisconsin gear this week - Go Badgers!!
